SHELL

This Rothmans replica was built from the ground up and is virtually a brand new car. The shell was subject to a full back to metal restoration and was painted by "RacePaint" based in Melbourne Australia. All mechanicals and running gear are brand new. Virtually every nut and bolt is brand new, with new parts being sourced off the shelf or being specifically tooled locally to ensure a faithful replica of Ari Vatanen's 1981 Escort

Brand new worked Ford Zetec 2.0 , 2x48 DCOEs
Custom fabricated alloy BDG Cam Cover
Custom fabricated water pump housing (replicate BDG spec)

All fitment and development of the new 2- litre Zetec was undertaken by my friends at "Melbourne Performance Centre".

All components balanced, lightened, heat treated, & strengthened.

Custom tuned headers and 2 1/2 inch free flow system
